YL-08NP High Range Water Reducing and Set Retarding Concrete Admixture
ASTM C494, Type G
YL-08NP is a water reducing, highly effective superplasticizer with a set retarding effect for concrete in hot temperature which delays concrete setting time. It has also high range water reducing for promoting high early and ultimate strengths of concrete.
YL-08NP is naphthalene-based superplasticizer compounded by some of high-performance retarder, stabilizer and reinforcing admixtures etc.
It complies with ASTM C 494 Type G, GB8076-2008 and GB50119-2003.
Ø YL-08NP is ideal concrete admixtures for preparing high-performance and high-strength concrete, mass concrete and long-distance transport concrete etc.
Ø It is suitable for working condition under temperature 5-40 ℃.
Ø Not suitable for being solely applied in the steam curing concrete.
Ø Test before applied in anhydrite, dross or similar industrial waste cement.
Advantage
- Has a high efficiency water-reducing, retarding in the initial setting and early strength in final setting, late-enhanced, less slump loss etc. which is extremely beneficial to the transport and to pouring of concrete.
- Increases initial workability. High ultimate strengths.
- The concrete of compressive strength, flexural, tensile, impermeability and durability are significantly improved and enhanced.
- The concrete setting time prolong 1-3h, it can also be adjusted according to the user's demand. It has not affected the strength growth of concrete at different time.
Dosage
0.5-1.2% by weight of cement. Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of effect sought, quality of cement and aggregates, water/cement ratio and ambient temperature. Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes.Using during mixing and after-mixing method and properly prolong stirring time to assure even.
